Hospital linens, including bed sheets, blankets, safety blankets, slings and Lab coats with embordering services, patient gowns, towels, and related textile items, as well as clinical scrub uniforms used by medical staff, must be cleaned, sanitized, and processed in accordance with healthcare industry standards and infection control protocols.
Proper laundering and handling of these items plays a critical role in preventing the spread of Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs), protecting both patients and healthcare personnel, and ensuring compliance with applicable public health regulations.
The selected vendor will be responsible for the routine collection, laundering, sanitization, quality inspection, packaging, and timely return of RUHS-MC linens and scrub uniforms. Services must ensure consistent availability of clean, high-quality linens and garments to support uninterrupted patient care, daily clinical operations, and emergency response readiness.
