The project limits extend a total of 0.8 miles from I-35W to Portland Ave along TH 13 and between River Ridge Lane and E Travelers Trail on Nicollet Ave. The project scope is to design and construct a grade separated interchange including roadway, bridges and bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
The project scope also includes retaining walls, drainage infrastructure, traffic signals and sanitary sewer, etc. The Design Build Project letting is August 19, 2026. The goal of the Design Build Verification contract is for State to receive assistance in performing the tasks necessary to verify that the Design Build contractor is in conformance with the Design Build Conformed Contract.
