INTRODUCTION As a vital lot of the East-West ‘Front’ Lawn to our urban campus, the PSU Community Garden project will bring together students, Portland Parks and Recreation, and the campus community by providing a new teaching area and a center for the Student Sustainability Center (SSC) programs, services, and engagement that enriches the social, cultural, and educational environment.
This site, located at 1604 SW 10th Ave., Portland, OR 97201, was the location of the Harder House and the Parkway Residence Hall building which were recently demolished. This project will install a Community Garden in the existing .34 Acre green space.
