Existing low performing video and/or inductive loop stop bar detection systems will be replaced with modern detection devices that provide multi-functional capabilities to include presence detection, advanced detection, and traffic monitoring.
In order to be considered for award, all prospective bidders shall be pre-qualified with the Virginia Department of Transportation in accordance with Section 102.01 of VDOT’s 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications. Information regarding VDOT prequalification can be found at
