(This is a reposting of RFQ Bid Number PWE - 8.21.2026, as the orginal posting closed before the closing date listed in the RFQ ) The City of Issaquah (City) seeks to secure the services of a consulting firm with expertise in geotechnical, hydraulic and hydrogeologic engineering in support of the project described below.
The purpose of this evaluation is to provide the City with critical information and recommendations relating to its effective exercise of water rights and pump configuration, such that the City can determine how to pursue buildout of its water system.
Primary objectives will be to determine the current capacity of two of the City’s wells, wells 4 and 5; and to investigate the City’s current comprehensive water rights for all active and inactive wells, with the intention to either acquire new rights, and or consolidate or move existing water rights within the City. Addendum 1 (7/31/2026) - Includes the historic well tests and aquifer analysis performed by Geosyntec and Golder in 1999 and 2016 - See attached RFQ documents for full details.
