https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofedinburg/projects/287598The City of Edinburg Fire Department is seeking competitive proposals from licensed Contractors to design, engineer, permit, and install complete, code-compliant automatic fire sprinkler systems at two (2) municipal fire stations.
A. Station 1 – 18,000 sq. ft. facility: Installation for one overhead sprinkler system that will include necessary accessories such as smoke/carbon monoxide alarm systems to connect to exisisting fire sprinkler and alarm system.
B. Station 3 – 6,000 sq. ft. facility: Currently there is no existing sprinkler or fire alarms in place and will require installation of a connection to the existing water line. Connection will include all underground wrok from riser to city water line. C.
The fire sprinkler contractor will provide design, plans and hydraulic calculations. D. The contractor is explicitly responsible for applying for and pulling the permits at no charge. E. The contractor must pay out-of-pocket for any reinspection fees caused by failed inspections or missed appointments.
