One area of the Sustainability Department’s work is to ensure the County complies with state laws such as AB 939, AB 1826, AB 341, and SB 1383.
The Sustainability Department is requesting proposals for a Countywide Siting Element Compliance and Disposal Capacity Planning Consultant to assist with evaluating, documenting, and addressing the County’s projected solid waste disposal capacity needs in response to California requirements related to the Countywide Siting Element of the Countywide Integrated Waste Management Plan.
